Procharger F1
Procharger F1
Well, it's almost done. All I can say is that the F1 really "sucks". After tracing a low boost condition to the three inches or so of orange "dryer hose" ATI supplied used to mate the hard rubber intake part to the blower we fabbed a rigid (metal) replacement. This got us boost up to 5,200rpm instead of 4,500. But at that point, the remaining intake pieces also collapsed
. So now it's one more fab job and it will finally be really and truly done.
I think it will all be worth it though. We tested it in speed density mode and with no intake restriction, it made 22psi at 6,000rpm and was still rising. Even with a loose converter/automatic combo it made good hp. And that was without the N2O. But if you think of a Procharger F1 on a 4th gen. LT1, think again. It is far from a "bolt on".

There is some of what mine looks like. I wish I could get it up higher to get a better pic of it. I'll see if I can't get it on a lift and get some more pics of it. There are more pics in my sig.
I believe its 3.5" all the way to the blower, then it goes to 4" right behind the intercooler and into a 4x8.75" K&N filter.
