RE:Powerdyne Units

I like the powerdyne unit (4.5) i recently installed back in March I believe as long as you run cooler plugs to avoid detonation and change engine oil every two weeks (gets hot and breaks down Mobil 1 synthetic fast) Losts of time at dragstrip and streetracing! believed to cause this. (11.1:1) comp ratio, Car recently picked up 8mph on top end (eighth mile track) with a 2.4 60' ft time. One bad set of nitto's I have zero traction, car kicks out sideways going into second gear then gets loose again towards top of race track. No problems yet (knock on wood) Hopefully i can make it to late October in time for the new short block! Just bolted on BFG's tonight so hopefully i can resolve this traction dispute!
Get this the blower was supposed to be the girlfriends engagement ring LOL! Hey i told her the car was here first and it wants a blower!
I had friend a while back who ran NOS 125 shot i believe it was NX express (great stuff) Anyway he ran it on a bone stock LT1, ran awesome into the 7's. Until he blew it up! I made the choice with the blower instead of NOS and so far i am pleased with the results. It's always there where as you need to flip the switch with the nos and its great at the stop light! I would definately get a blower again. And it's even better for lower comp LT1's. Good luck and i hope this has helped.
