please help boost trouble

please help boost trouble

I have a stock 95 lt1 ta with a vortech s-trim. The problem i have is that i do not build boost until 4000 rpm. I dont even build a lb of boost till 4000 then it just hits like a ton of bricks. Vortech is always busy and I have sent emails. CAN ANYBODY HELP

HOw much boost are you seeing at WOT? Also how much vaccum are you pulling at idle?

I get around 18 vaccum and around 8 to 10 boost

maybe a sometimes stuck bypass valve????

Maybe a bad boost gauge? I see between 12 and 14 Hg at cruise/idle, immediately jumps to zero at any rpm below 3000 at WOT, then from 3000 - 6000 builds boost between 1# and 6#, and hits like a ton of bricks at 3500 rpms. I thought I'd see more boost down low too...
