Placement for boost gauge fitting in intake.

Since my engine is apart I'm cleaning up the wiring harness and such. Could I put a fitting in the EGR blockoff place or should I just tap into the head somewhere else? and if so and suggestions? I just don't like the look of all the T-fittings and such and thought putting the fitting in the back of the intake would help in cleaning things up.

I remeber someone was running a hobbs switch off of the EGR plate..I dont know how well it worked out for them, but if you can get a signal back there it should work

Just a plastic t fitting and a vacuum hose off the EGR vacuum port on the drivers side of the intake manifold works well for me.
