haha, its not the welds, its the flux core mig welder...under all the crap, there actually good welds, good penetration and no holes...what else matters?

This a solid roller? What do you plan on running?

no, sticking with hyd. lifters, ive got the comp-r's so ill use them, didnt have a problem before taking them to 6800 rpm.

right now the record is 9.44 for quickest, and fastest is around 156mph i think, two different cars, i want both, but mostly the 9.44

btw, this is the 6 speed record

I was just in a pretty bad wreck on my cbr 600 on the 5th , so im banged up pretty good, broken arm, swollen nuts (internal bleeding, but theyll be alright) that was scary, so the camaros gotta wait a little bit, again, the on going project...haha, might recruit my buddies to build the rest of the system while i supervise, i dunno, we'll see

I read that you will be tunning w/ LT-1 edit, I don't think that it can tune past 1BAR. If you want the record you will need a stand alone.

You can tune it to see more than 1 bar. It doesnt really see more than 1 bar, but you can trick it by using a different map sensor. You just need a 2 bar sensor (0-5v) and need to rescale some tables. So when a 1 bar map reads 5v it will go to the 100kpa cell in the timing table for example. If you use a 2 bar map, the 5v signal will only be reached when the 2 bar map is maxed out (14.5psi of boost). Now your "100kpa cell" is really 200kPa. You lose resolution, but it can be done. Thats how I plan on doing it

Re: Pictures of my twin turbo buildup

you dont really even have to do that, i just plan on running a tune for max boost on race gas, and then one for the street on like 6psi where the computer can still sense the pressure, all on the 1 BAR...you dont need the computer to be boost aware to run this kind of boost pressure, its just a pita to tune, you just tune with the timing vrs. rpm and ...and PE VS RPM , instead of vs. KPA

With tunercat I only remember 1 timing table (map vs rpm). If you dont scale that table, then when you reach 0psi of boost (or lets say you see .5psi boost @ 1600rpm) then you already maxxed out the timing table (whic stops at 0psi of boost). I assume whatever timng was in the last cell (100kpa cell) is what it will stay at for anything over that kpa. The downside to that is you cant change the timing while it boost. Your stuck with either the lowest timing for the max psi you will run (say you run low timing @ 6psi, then 0-6psi will have the same low timing no matter which psi your at), or you can put a more aggressive timing in the 100kpa cell (last cell on the table) and use a boost retard to take timing out as boost increases. I was just going to scale the table down. Anyone else have input or opinions?

yeah i forgot to mention im gonna use a mallory hifire box to retard timing, but lt1 edit does have timing vs kpa as well as verse temp i beleive...the PE (Fuel delivery)can be based on rpm
