My kit made 21psi using the stock manifold and the turbotech header. This was verified on the transbrake btw, no dyno numbers since the head gaskets let go. I'm using a custom T76 from Innovative though and their progate, other than that it's all the normal production kit.

At 14psi my car made 571rwhp and 638rwtq but it started spinning the tires on the dyno at 104mph (5,200 rpm). I think it would have made 600rw otherwise. I could probably make another 150-200rwhp though with a better header, manifold, intercooler and down pipe.

Here is an image of the dyno run:

Note: I have a powerglide with a 10" converter, under boost it flashes to around 4200 or so.

Brandy, are you willing to give out details about the engine? Heads, cam? Did wrapping the headers help out with underhood temps? I wish my engine bay looked that clean.

It was a 383cid engine with off the shelf LPE LT1 heads. The cam is 236/248@ .050", 112LS. At the time it was 9.8:1 compression and had about 200 nitrous passes on it, as well as 20k street miles Not sure if the header wrap is worth it or not, I know that I never burned any plug wires and the fenders didn't melt.

Jordon, I really don't know what turbo I have, only that it has a 80mm inlet and an A/R .70 inlet housing. It came in an Innovative box and was ordered by Job. It's supposed to be a T76 and I'm fairly positive thats what it is, however I have no idea if it's a bearing type or what trim impeller.

If it's got an 80mm inlet, it's not a T-76 (which would have a ~76mm inlet). In any case, it sounds like a nice turbo! Innovative makes some good stuff.

I should probably take it by the local turbo shop and let them tell me what it is. It's supposed to be the same thing Big Daddy Dwayne Gutridge had when he ran 9.0s on drag radials (now 8.6s).

the inlet i dont think really matters... more the size of the wheel.

Hmm, to run 9.0's, that would be pushing it with a T76, guess it depends on the weight.

When he mentioned inlet, I assumed he was refering to the I.D. of the turbo housing, since the inlet OD on any of the standard turbonetics/innovative big shaft turbos will be 100mm regardless of the wheel size. If it had a 80mm inlet O.D., it would be one small turbo Anyway, as a rule of thumb, the housing inlet I.D. is the size of the wheel inducer (T-76 inducer is like 76.7mm) plus 1mm of clearance. If he measured the housing accuractely, and it was definitely 80mm or larger, it's definitely not a T-76.

What is the AR on the exhaust? i MAY be wrong, but I was thinking the "r-trim" that the GT80 has requires a 1.33?

My GT80 has a 1.32 housing, but Innovative said that 1.15 and .96 are both available.

.96 exhaust housing.

Big Daddy has a Mustang coupe btw, it weighs a little less than the typical F-body.
