Where did you access your oil system for the charger?

The Paxton was self-contained. So was my D1SC. And so is my new F1. No oil lines to deal with!! Is that cool, or what??

The "SC" series of ATI chargers are self contained, meaning the oil is in the head unit itself. No tapping of the oil pan is required.

So are the D1sc self contained oil systems?

Yes the D1SC is self contained, the chargers without the designation "SC" are not. I believe ATI has two which still need the engines oil pan for lubrication, these are the P600B and D1.

The D1SC is self-contained. It uses 6 ounces of ATI's proprietary fluid that should be changed every 6,000 miles. The P1SC is the same. The F1 is also self-contained, although it does not carry the "SC" nomenclature in it's name. It uses 4 ounces.

The F series blowers are considered race only, I believe. The F1 has some unique specs, such as a 5 to 1 step-up ratio. It also has a 70,000 rpm redline. However, it's casing is identical in size as the P1 / D1SC, so it bolted right up to my D1SC bracket. Add a cog system and voila, you've got my setup.

What is the difference between the p1sc and the d1sc? Price and preformance?

Man, Paxton should have thought about having the novi to bolt up to the brackets on teh sn 2000. Guess thats what set's ATI apart from the rest. Pretty ****ty customer service for paxton!

Thanks for the help Willie!
