P1sc Oil Change Questions

Has anyone rigged up something easier to drain the oil while the unit is still in the car, It just seems to be a real pain.

But of course. This may not be the BEST course of action but it was a hell of a lot of fun:

Got this from a previous post by Hal Fisher:

You know they make a very cheap pump for draining things like that out the fill hole, don't you? I use it when changing the tranny fluid. Just stick the tube down the fill spout and drain, then its very easy and mess free to change the filter. That saves all kinds of time to drink more beer but it requires very little self praise and mess clean up so its probably not for you. (just kidding except about the drain pump).

I read once that Einstien needed a paper clip but couldn't find one so he made it himself. He didn't realize until later that he actually used a paper clip in its construction.

Do a search for "Oil change" in the forced induction forums and scroll down to the topic "Procharger oil change in 4 hrs" and you can read the whole thread if you want to.

Hal posted that response to my original thread about this same topic. Hal is right. There is a much easier way to do it than I did it but i created my own way just to see if I could. My response to your post was in good fun. It was intended to make you laugh. However, my way worked. I spilled a little but that was due more to being tanked than anything.
