P-1SC vs. D-1SC
P-1SC vs. D-1SC
what is the difference between the P-1sc and teh d-1sc? looking to at the procharger and they said i can upgrade for a small amount? Same thing with the intercooler...can upgrade from a 4" to a 5".
Also, the handheld programmer that comes with the kit...will that replace my predator, or is it the same thing?

Re: P-1SC vs. D-1SC
The D1SC flows 200 cfm more air at maximum airflow. The impeller is more aggressive and provides more midrange punch. The D1SC kit is only sold in a "tuner" version so you must provide your own tuning and fuel system mods. The Predator supplied in the P1SC kit includes ATI developed programming specific to the supercharger kit and is full featured.
Re: P-1SC vs. D-1SC
If i already have a predator, can i just get the upgrade and install it from my computer?
also, should i be runing 5 or 7psi on a stock engine? I am going to upgrade fuel injectors, but that is it for now.

Re: P-1SC vs. D-1SC
The tuneup only comes with the Predator itself and isn't available for download at this time. You could program your car back to stock and sell the Predator you have now.
5-7 is fine with the tune. Z06 Corvettes are limited to roughly 5 because of the increased compression. Depending on fuel where you live you may be able to get away with 7-8, such as if you have a Sunoco station with 94.

Re: P-1SC vs. D-1SC
we have sunoco 94 octane around here. that is all i use as it is. Does the kit come with both pulleys or do i have to specify? also, will any of my other mods be obsolete with the kit? such as the airlid, cai, maf, etc?
what about dyno-tuning? I am gonna be running a 75-125 shot of N20 as well.

Re: P-1SC vs. D-1SC
Well I highly recommend the dyno tune. I wouldn't throw a bunch of nitrous at it unless you are on at least 100 octane. Your MAF will be fine, but any air inlet pieces would be replaced by the kit. All drive parts are supplied. Everything but jackstands.
Re: P-1SC vs. D-1SC
i am gonna definatly have it dyno tuned before i run the juice.
also, what about my underdrive pulley? does that stay or go?
1 more thing...how long does your P-1sc last for? do you rate them in miles or hours?
