omg help intercooler

Exclamation omg help intercooler

I just put in my intercooler and it is way huge...not even fitting... the size was 35"x13"x4" and it is hangin out the botom and it looks like ****... how are you guys mounting them and what are the sizes... I was lookin around and the little ones are rated only to 300 hp and I got just over 500 right now.... help!!! thanks

That sounds similar to mine, mine was 35 (24 inch core) x12x4. Look on page 3 of my cardomain site for several FMIC mounting pics

Mine's a similar size. I notched the bottom bolt for the bumper support off on each side and it fit perfectly.

Here's a pic of mine (also seems to be about the same size). I pretty much just took out the foam peice inside the bumper, welded the FMIC in place and put the bumper back on. My problem wasn't the fitting, but I wanted to make good use of a FMIC without hacking up my front bumper for better air flow. I ended up making an air damn underneath the bumper which aimed the air from the ground. My IAT's are nice and cool, and my front end still looks stock!
