is anyone here running one or know of anyone running one. I have one in the mail and id like to know what the power difference really is. ive heard they got over 40 hp off of a turbocharged honda at the wheels on some pulls. wondering if anyone can verify a true gain or have any dyno numbers with and without.......thanks in advance.

I don't have, or know anyone who has one. Since you got one in the mail, make sure you let us know the results. I assume you'll be using CO2 rather than N20?

I think if I was going to spend the money for that, i'd go with a water/alky injection kit instead. It's more of a proven setup, and easier to maintain.

Either way, Your truck sounds like it'd be fun.

 

Personally, I'm saving a little money and routing my purge lines to the front of the intercooler. It's a little more work than the NX bar, but it should do relatively the same thing for less $$$.

Of course, that's if I actually used nitrous.

 

well as for the kit ive been lookin for one for a good while, i was browsing corral.net and found one that had never been installed cause the guy blew the motor for 200$ including a 10 lbs bottle. the bottle alone is worth close to that so i couldnt pass the deal. far as using CO2 over nitrous, im not usre where in the st louis area to find a CO2 supplier with the proper valve for filling the bottle. I am going to try a paint ball suppier and see what they have first, but the CK welding supply here ships out their cylinders as most here do to fill em, not sure i wanna give em a 200$ bottle to put in the mail daily so i might end up using nitrous for a while. ill keep ya posted on the results as well. i plan on running at steggimeiers dyno on the spray and off the spray to see what is actually gained from it. later
