Next step??

I was hoping you guys could lead me in the right direction. I have a 95 Z28 with T56. So far i have a K&N filter charger, flowmaster catback, high flow cat. I was wondering what my next upgrade should be and not break the bank to get more power? Thanks

A good place for this question would be in the "General Tech" section, not the Forced Induction section.

This forum is for specific Forced Induction related topics.

Now, if you are asking if you should boost your car on the other hand, then this might be the right place.

I suggest reading the stickies at the top of the forum. They are a great source for info, as is the "search" option.

With just a K&N filter, and a flowmaster, you've barely scratched the surface for more power. Tons more is available in almost infinite directions. It really all depends on what you want, and how much you are willing to spend.

Anything forced induction wise is the most expensive, however usually the best for the big HP gains. Not to say the same couldn't be had with a well built motor and Nitrous as well.

Do your research, or ask something a little more specific, and we will be better to help you out.

I would say that the next steps would be headers or 1.6:1 rockers with upgraded valve springs. Or, nitrous of course if you want to go that route. This should be in LT1 tech. Another option is some 4.11 gears.

Get a cutout and a tune, along with Rich's suggestions. have you done ANY of the free mods yet? The TB bypass would be a great start
