Newbie to forced induction looking for info

Well first off I have a bone stock (well k&n filter and dynomouth exhuast) 1994 z28 with 135k miles. So i guess my first question is will forced induction decide to make her blow? If so will one, turbo or super, blow first? Which is more reliable? What are the average costs of each? What other engine components (cam, heads, etc) need to, should be, and must be changed with the induction install and what does this normally climb the price to? Also if there is anything else i should know that I hae left out please help me out. Thanks in advance for the info.

You question is a very broad question. However, i would say you should go with a supercharged setup, around 6-10psi, probably something from procharger. Depending on much boost you want to run and how much power you want to get, you may have to do some internal mods to your engine. Most likely, since you are new to the forced induction world, you will probably want to start out with something small on your stock motor and then work your way up. Once you learn the ropes you can start building your own custom turbo setup but this is a very expensive, and time consuming task that requires quite a bit of knowledge on the subject. That is why i suggest you go with a supercharged set up first. just my $.02

Since this question is asked all the time I would highly recommend doing a search on both systems.
