Need some advice and suggestions from you guys

OK..here's my situation. I am trying to decide whether to keep or sell my car (in sig) sometime right after or during christmas to get a 96-98 cobra. If I get the cobra I'd be rebuilding the internals, full exhaust, and ofcourse another blower. Or keeping mine and get it bored to 355 dropping the compression (most likely to 9.6:1) doing a cam, headers, depending on the money I have left, heads. Ofcourse I'd be going forged internals. In this case I would just spin the **** outta my S-Trim. What do you think? I realize this is a Camaro site but the 4V Cobra loves boost. Would I be better rebuilding my car? What cam, pistons, compression ratio would you guys suggest?? Thanks a ton, I have some time to decide, but need to get my mind set on one or the other...KEEP OR SELL. Thanks again, I appreciate y'alls opinions.

I would say to keep your car and rebuild the motor. You are half way there and would be going backwards if you buy a Cobra. How much hp do you plan on pushing?? What kind of budget are you going to be working with?

Check the pricing for 4v Cobra's and their parts. I think you will answer your own question.

I would LOVE to have 500 to the wheels at some point. The key is I have to be safe, this is pretty much a daily driver. So I need a driveable cam and just a nice safe tune. Budget...enough for cam, headers, internals, tune, other stuff. I don't wanna go too high, but I realize it's gonna take some money to do.

I think your goal is pretty easily attainable. The reason I ask about your budget is because you will need to set money aside for any unforseen problems that may occur after your motor rebuild.

Yeah, I just hope there aren't many. I know there's that chance. I figure though with forged internals not a ton of boost...but a good bit and a nice safe tune I should be ok.
