what did you guys use to cut out the black area of the front clip?

well my small dremal won't work. what about a cut off wheel? i think i may buy one just to cut up the front area where the cooler has to be mounted. thanks

hmm looks like a handy tool for the job . i don't have air tools though..

I just used a utility knife.

Old pics:





The intercooler has since been tucked up and I''l going to completely remove the area around the red bow tie.

Holy Crap, that bottom picture adds credibility to the statement in your sig LOL. Hopefully you dont end up with some random parts from around the garage getting installed.

Here's how I did mine.....some of the lile pics are gone from the main page but the links still work to show pictures....

Parted the car out and started hacking up the website.

dont worry man, your system is in good hands
Just added some AFR 227 heads and replaced the CC305 cam for something a lot bigger

Thought i would check in and say i got the FMIC bolted up and made some brackets to hold the bottom and bolted them up to the radiator support.
