Keep the grill for stealth purposes.

Lisa thanks. Chris i'm kinda in the air whether to cut away all the black on the clip or just keep it with what i have with just the fog light area with grills... i have been trying to find a handful of pictures of different LT1 camaros with FMIC but no luck. years ago i could have sworn there was a handful on guys with pictures on the board?

plus fog light area won't let much air in either. i did find some nice grill material from summit.

I mean cut away the supporting material, but leave the metal grill in place so you can't see the intercooler.

Hey thanks for the picture looks good. i'm just worried maybe dirt or rocks would beable to hit or get stuck into the cooler with it being unprotected??

what did you use to cut the front clip area?

Here's a pic of my setup. I didn't want to hack the front bumper all up, so I just cut out the area behind my fog lights, and then ran a custom air duct from underneath the car to direct air to my FMIC. I'm sure its not as effective as having the gaping hole as above, but I don't have to worry about rocks getting stuck in my intercooler. And my setup seems to manage to keep my IAT's nice and cool anyhow.

Here's a pic before I put the front end back on, if you were looking for just pics of the intercoolers themselves.

Call911 - yes i have looked at your pictures before thanks.. i'm so picky with my car,and black area i want to remove has acouple small nicks from rocks and it has always bothered me. so i would either have that repainted or just cut it out. the nicks show up cause of the waxif you don;t know they are they then you don't notice them but if you looked for them then you would see them. i would have a paint guy i know cut the area out so its perfect..

Man, those Swed's like their Camaros. I was laughing at Lisa's intercooler pic though. Nice ride, but look at all the crazys standing behind the fence right behind the burn out box. Think their getting pelted with rocks? Hahaha. ouch... ouch... ouch...
