need a little help on a DIY TT

so i decided to ditch the SC and go twin turbo. got a couple questions about it. my goal is 750-800 rwhp. what is a good turbo for that, that will get a fast spool? what trim? it must be a garrett or turbonetics. i understand the hp rating of 1 turbo but how does the twin turbo work if each turbo is rated for 500hp?

also the plan is to start out at 6-7 psi on a stock motor. will twin 38mm be able to keep up with that, or will i need to go to 44mm? plans are to run stock, and see if it will hold up for a season. next season will get the rebuild.

if you are talking about 38mm and 44mm wastegates the 38s would work just fine. i know there is a guy either on here or ls1tech that is running twin TC70s with much success. 67s would prolly do it too. as far as 6-7lbs on the stock block good luck with that mine spun a rod bearing.

i was talking wastegates

alot of people seem to get away with the stock motor for a little while. dont care to much if it does go. dont care about the motor, tranny, or 10 bolt, since they will all get replaced. there is alot of lt1 blocks out there

38mm wastegates will be fine.

as for turbos, you would be able to do it easily with twin 67 (t3/t67)
might be able to get a pair of t3/60-1 (or t3/60-2) turbo and get it done with that.
