well i ve looked around and have not found much, what matterial are you guys using to make your turbo headers ? everything i find is either 18 or 16 guage. For a street driven vechile would you use mild or stainless steel, i keep hearing stainless steel is to britle for use on turbo headers. thanks again for all your help. links to any sites that sell heavier bends would be great too.

I bought their "odd bends" for $89, and was able to make 2 complete sets of headers and have tubing left over.

 

I got the same thing as Bill. It comes with a ton of bends. Well worth it. Usually you can find the Schoenfeld stuff from companies that sell Circle track parts.

 

Mild steel here also, then coated with a 2000 deg ceramic coating.

Upside down S-10 swap headers, no less!!

 

I will be costing mine as well with 2000 deg aluminum look ceramic coat. Got it from colombia coatings, as well as most of my powdercoating stuff. I will be running the headers uncoated for a few heat cycles, then removing them and making sure there are no leaks. I'll also be retourqing the heads as well. I hope to prevent any coolant leaks from the heads this time!

do you guys know of any places that sell 14 guage header tubbing ? i do plan to have them ceramic coated.
