My WS6 is a dog! I need a supercharger BAD!

I've got about a $5500 spending limit. What are my options? I've gone from a supercharged '97 Vette that was a monster, to a 2002 Z06 and now I'm spoiled. This WS6 honestly feels like a big fat slow pig. If I go with the 4lb ATI P1SC, will I need anything else? I have a feeling that 4 lbs of boost isn't going to satisfy me, but with the spending limit I mentioned, is that about my only option? I will be paying someone to do the install (unless someone close to central PA wants to help me do it ) so I have to factor in the price of installation to that $5500. Thanks!

4 lbs??? I would go with at least the 8 lb kit which will get your attention. 4 is not worth the hassle or money.

If you do not have money set aside for a rebuild then I would highly recommend against a supercharger. I think with 5500 you are pushing it because you are going to pay someone to install it plus you need gages, wires, plugs, and retard box.

Good advice. I was so close to ordering the ATI then I thought about the price of a rebuild and changed my mind. Matter of fact, I decided to just get rid of the TA all together.
