My 4inch vortech cold air intake

http://jon.shoberg.net/CarStuff/Pics/coldair

I'm going to have one of the welds redone to give a bit more clearance but the above pictures will provide an idea. Its a 4inch elbow which will connect to 4inch ribbed-flex hose and then to the large K&N cone filter.

Solid 4inch is pretty rigid and a tight fit under the nose of the car also. Going with the ribbed powerflex hose allows a bit of adjustment. Plus the ribs are solid enough that they won't collapse under boost. The t-trim inlet is 3.75inches so this should be a bit of overkill.

Hopefully it will pull some air ...

Updated with a few more pics and the powerflex hose ... all 4 inch and ribbed to not collapse.

That is a very good job.

I plan on doing basically the same thing, but using 3.5" tubing for the inlet to the V2. And it will be solid pipe all the way to the air cleaner, no flex hose at all.
