Question Msd 6btm

Any recommendations on this ignition? I currently have MSD wires, coil, 6A box with a stock opti.

I was thinking of upgrading the box to get a soft rev limiter anyway (plus the box is probably a good 8 years old, and noticed that the BTM offers a boost reference timing control. Is this feature something that is going to be helpful, or are there other ignitions I should be considering as well?

i have the btm. but i am not using it for pulling timing. it just came with the motor. i use the dfi unit to adjust timing under boost. it was originally used on the motor when it was carb'd.

I ran a BTM on mine since i have a 93 and it was a stock tune, I used it to pull my timing, I have a DFI system now and will just set it to 0 retard, its still the same box as a 6al is with the boost retard.
