Motor break in with procharger?

Should i break in the motor first,or go ahead and install the procharger when i put in the fresh longblock?
I'm concerned about break in debris and regular oil in the Procharger....They want you to run synthetic oil in the sytem and this is a p600b that's fed oil from the motor.
Thanks guy's...

When we did my 383, I broke the motor in first. I ran the motor for 20 minutes and then pulled the filter out and changed the oil (dyno oil) then I did it again after 500 Miles. After the 500 Miles, I started to "enjoy" the 383 NA, later when I got the 50# injectors, we installed the blower. I drove the car up to Bryan at PCMforless and swapped in 50# injectors and had Bryan Street tune my car.

I would suggest that you break the motor in first before putting the blower on there.

Thx,
Claude

You would be all right running the blower, But just don't be going into boost until your rings are seated. I've put 2000 miles on my new 385 with the blower and didn't go into boost until I had about 800 miles on it and everything is fine, I guess it just depends if you have the disipline to keep your foot out of it.

I suppose 500 miles of dyno oil won't kill the blower....Thanks.

I let blower and motor break in for 1000 miles at same time and I changed the oil 4 times.

Its really worth the drive, and Since I brought my friend with me to tune his car, Bryan only charged us 150.00 each for our STREET tunes. He actually sat in the car with his Laptop and tuned the car while I was driving. It may not be as great as dyno tuning with Wideband 02s but for the price it will be a lot more accurate than Mail Order tuning.

Hope that helps,
Claude
