Thanks Josh. I'll probably be doing this in the next few days. I plan on taking the car to the track on Tuesday, and want her to be leak free.

Anyone know if RTV sealant is methanol resistant? Again, I will be trying to find the Goop E6000 Ponyhntr suggested, but its always nice to have a contingency plan just in case.

I just checked the permatex website and their heavy duyt stuff that is supposed to be resistant to oils is not for use on parts that come in contact with gasoline, so that would lead me to believe not for methanol as well.

After talking with the Snow Performance rep, I think I'll be taking Ponyhntr's advice and going with the Goop. I could take a risk, and use something that "might" be methanol friendly, or I could just go to Home Depot and get some Goop that I know will work.

Thanks to everyone for their input. I'll try to tackle this project this afternoon, and get pics when I am finished. I'll probably wait 24hrs to make sure its dry before I go out to see if it holds the seal, but I'll keep everyone posted.

Well, I got it fixed. I just got the Goop;

And then took off all the old teflon (this was actually a PITA since its been on there 3 days now AND IT STILL WASN'T DRY YET!!). But once I took it off, the clear goop went on easily, and looks a lot better and less noticable than the teflon did. The snow performance guy reccomended this specific type of goop that I ended up getting at Home Depot.

I just need to let it sit for a day or so before it is fully cured, then I will take it out and see how it does.

Thanks again to all who helped out with ideas I appreciate your help
