Haven't talked to them in a while, but when I spoke with them last they mentioned that they were looking for a new supplier for one part of the "safe injection". But again, I have not talked to them in a while, so I don't know if this is something that got figured out for the current kits on their market or not.

 

sorry to bring this back, but currently i am running 109 octane so that i can boost where i want to.

Just now getting $$ for an injection kit, and am looking at the snowperformance, and the alkycontrol.

My next question, ive heard of running windshield washer fluid as your injection liquid?

 

Thats been brought up before. I wouldn't use it personally as methanol (which is what you should use) really isn't that expensive, and to use the washer fluid just to save that extra 30 cents just seems foolish to me.

 

call, are you running straight methanol, or a mix, or what?

 

50/50 water meth mix in mine, however lots have had good luck with straight meth as well. Both have been proven to work very effectively.

There are large arguments on which is better (none of which is conclusive). IMO, if you want the most cooling effect, go like I did with a 50/50 mix. If you just want highest octane boost, go straight meth.

How does it sense boost though?
Looking at the Stage 2 for cars with centrifugal or large turbos

 

It uses a vacuum line off your intake to a boost controller that progressivly sprays the methanol with boost, meaning its boost referenced.

You can set yours up however you want. Mine is setup to have the initial hit of meth come in at 5#'s of boost, and have it reach its maximum spray at 10#'s of boost.
