I think im going with alky control. Braided lines and a seperate box for pump voltage control. I was also looking at the snow performance stg 2. But the lines are that plastic/nylon stuff. The alkycontrol kit just seems more robust.

No question about it: AlkyControl. A great product and Julio has been the best aftermarket part guy I've ever dealt with.

Alky control is the best hands down, not cheap though. Personally I'm not a water injection fan, just not reliable enough.

I installed my Alkycontrol kit in less than 3 hours. It had a modified f body windshield washer fluid tank included. Julio also sold me a mini washer tank so I could still clean my windshield. He modifies the pumps with methanol tolerant seals. It had every part included and had good instructions. He set the initial tuning for my car and it was pretty close. All I had to do was adjust the gain **** a little when it gets cold outside. Excellent kit.

Pure meth for me.

+2 on the Snow Performance kit. I have had it in my car for a couple years now and it works great.

IMO, the 2 best kits out there are Alky control and Snow Performance. Julio makes some good kits, but kind of rubbed me the wrong way when talking to me on the phone. The guys at Snow Performance are really knowledgeable, and sell top notch kits as well. The biggest reason I picked Snow Performance over anything else was the fact it has a "safety" feature (optional) that constantly senses the meth flow, and if for any reason it isn't working properly it bleeds off boost keeping you safely away from detonation. To my knowledge Snow Performance is the only one who offers this feature. I know Alky Control doesn't.

I have 2 questions. How does it measure flow? How does it bleed off boost? Thanks.

Their "safe injection" feature has a sensor that constantly measures the flow of methanol through the line when the meth injection is activated. If it senses that the pump is on, but that the methanol is not flowing, it has a relay that bleeds off boost from your BOV.

To my knowledge, Snow Performance is the only one doing this. Seeing as how 99% of all meth injected cars are tuned on the methanol, seeing high boost, and then for some reason if your meth injection system had issues it could take out your engine. Having more than $10,000 in my engine alone, this is something I can't risk, and Snow Performance's "safe injection" is the only insurance I have against preventing that catastrophic possibility.

That Safe Injection piece has been listed as "Temporarily Unavailable" for a very long time. Have they discontinued it?
