MAX power from a D1

with a 7.6 crank and 4.25 my car made 14 psi and 640 rwhp. spinning it to 6500 rpms. How much power is there left for me to gain from the D1...i still have a 3.7 and possibly 3.4 pullys for the blower..how much PSI and power will i gain?
Help me out

xxsaint69x what does your motor consist of. I did the math 7.625/4.25X4.10X6500= 47813 RPM out of the available 65000 RPM from the D1 (D1SC is 62000). That math is right if the D1 has a internal ratio of 4.10, I can't remember.
I am guessing your setup is very restrictive to see 14lbs spinning it to that RPM. I can see 20lbs maxing the blower out.

The point being if you made 640 only turning the blower to 47000, you have 18000 rpm left before you max it out. So if you do the math with the 3.7, that would be around 55000 rpm and about 59000 rpm with with the 3.4. Should put you over the 700whp mark for sure.

Like Ben said the boost numbers seem a little high for the current pulleys. Id look into gettin that thing to breath a little better.

its a 383 with cnc lt1 heads ported lt1 intake, 58mm TB, hook lts, gmmg exhaust, thru a 6 speed into a 12 bolt The reason i got 14 psi was because i wasnt runnin a pos restrive intake tube...just a wire mesh on the blower....

Ok makes since now, that probably helped at least 3lbs of boost ( I know crazy how just taking the intake tube off helps that much ) Try to get a 4 inch Aluminum Elbow in the biggest filter you can find. You may not see 14lbs but 12-13 lbs would be doable.
I have a custom 3.2 BP from ASP, may want to look into that for Blower pulley's.

BTW what does your fuel system consist of, andare you still running the cc306 cam in that motor?????

The stock intact tract on a Procharger P1SC or D1SC is restrictive but once you get rid of the tiny Air filter for a 10inch long filter it is actually not bad From what I have witnessed.

I know a guy as well running 9.4's in the 1/4 at 144 with the stock intact tract but he has two filters on it and there are pretty big opposed to the procharger filter. He actually ran the same times as well picking up a MPH or two.
