Re: MAF Massager

if your car isnt having any problems without one i wouldnt worry about it. im surprised that your not having problems with 8psi. my MAF spazzed out the third time i put my foot in it after i put on my vortech and im only running the 6psi pulleys. i heard that different MAFs handle FI differently. i was told that only running 6psi i shouldnt have any problems.....

im not sure if you can be having problems with the MAF and not know it. i heard some guys saying that the maf can only sence so much air flow and then it maxes out and causes the motor to go lean on top.

my car started jerking and running like crap then the SES light came on and the PCM coded for MAF malfunction and Excess air flow (code 103 &104 i believe). i purchased the massager from procharger for $190 and after that its been fine.

anyone else?????

Re: MAF Massager

Do you have a ODB1 Computer? Also my car seems to run like total crap now and I cant figure it out and the only code is the MAF malfuntion. Im having ideling troubles as well as reving problems seems when I even though the gas it just wants to die. Like I said the only code is the MAF Malfuntion and my MAF readings are maxxed out.

oh yeah!

which is why i blew my last motor i believe....

everytime i'd hit round 5800 RPMs i guess the MAF would max out, and it would throw a code, and my AF would hit 15+ on the wideband form like 11....

just upped the MAF max threshold on lt1edit, and the problem disappaared...

Re: MAF Massager

you gotta save up man

with a FI, or n2o setup (hell any setup lol) its essential to get the most hp out of it.... our jl turbo car started off with 440hp, and we squezzed 520hp out of it
