MAF location
I am wanting to go from a bypass valve to a Tial BOV. In order to do this I need to move the MAF to the charge side instead of where is currently located on the inlet side. Any negative concerms with relocating the MAF?.

Re: MAF location
Potentially. What vehicle/engine?
It’s important that the flow over the MAF is not turbulent. It shouldn’t be too close to the air filter or any bends.
You might also consider switching to a speed density tune, eliminating the MAF altogether.

Re: MAF location
I descreened mine and located it just before the Procharger 90 degree inlet tube that goes to the intake. I had to get 3 1/2" to 3" reducer fittings for each end of the MAF. Mine works fine--idles and runs good.
