hey does anyone know if the lucas 42 #ers are any good? i heard the 24s are prone to lockup with high pressures.

i found a good deal on some so im hoping they are good.

also, how often do you guys change your sparkplugs?

From my understanding, only a couple makes injectors. Others just repackage them and slap their name on them. Lucas might be made by someone else, or they might make some other injectors. I posted a topic about this a while back and by the responses, Lucas inj. are good.

I ended up buying the Lucas 42.5lb injectors soon after. Have yet to put them in though.

If you put enough pressure to an injector, it will lock up.

 

i have a set if you are looking to buy some. was going to run a dry
shot but after i had bought everything, decided to go with a wet
one. paid 49.99 each. they are the 42lb delphi/lucas but were
dynamically flowed (flow matched) and grouped by racetronix.
don't think they offer the 42lb matched anymore. the pn is 01D030B,

mike. your deal was the one i was reffering to. why are the bosch so much more $ ?

 

Because they are so hard to get , suppliers charge more for them because they are like gold when you get them .
