I currently have a 94 Z with a 6lb powerdyne, rr and headers. Sould I install a LT4 knock sensor? Anybody have this setup?

 

I removed my LT4 KS when I installed my SC.

The LT4 KS may mask real knock which you do not want to have happen, as real knock + boost = $$$

So my advise is no.

 

I also removed my LT4 KM when I had my Powerdyne.

 

I have been using it for approx (3) years with the PD. It still registers knock according to my TTS Data logging software. I must not be missing much (if any) though since I have not hurt the motor in that time, and I am running KB hyperutectics which would not let me get away with real knock for that long.

I do run a fairly conservative tune which is probably the most important aspect of success IMO.
