Question lt4 km??

hey whats up folks i was wondering if u can have an lt4km installed while u have a supercharger???some people told me that u cant and so did this part magazine . . i dont think thats right because what happins if u have a lt4 engine and then u supercharge it . .well anyways ya think i can have one installed or what???o yea and what else can i have not installed if im about to be supercharged??? thanks for the reply they will really help me out alot

I use a lt4 km for what it's worth..

why would they claim that?... you would think the blower itself could false knock a normal stock module.

u use the lt4 knock module with your s/c installed too??

I removed mine

the logic is that tith a blower, you do not want to take the chance of the PCM ignoring real knock

By using a LT4KM - which is less sensitive that the stocker. You run the risk of missing real knock and having detonation

Detonation + boost = rebuild

if your running a very strong bottom end - I guess the concern is less but I'm on a stock bottom and didn't want to take chances

Procharger is 10x louder than a powerdyne.
He's a stocker anyway so this thread is basicly usless..

I would false knock with a normal module.
