Lt1 supercher?

Hi,

I’m thinking of purchasing a used Supercharger and would like to know what would be the best kit for my application. I want to get 600rwhp out of a 355 on pump gas if possible. The motor will be fully forged when I build it. But want to stick it on the car for now. The car is a 93 M6 Z28 weekend car. My current set up is a 355 stock crank and rods with forged TRW pistons (stock CP). LE1 heads and a XE230/236 cam with 1.6rr. LT’s with a 3” X pipe. I know I can’t put much boost to this motor but only want to purchase a Blower once. So what kit would you guys recommend to meet my goals for the best price? You know “S” or “T” trim and so on. Oh and I only want to run intercooler or aftercoold boost.

I know do a search and I did and it looks like the there are some people making good power with the "S-trim" but would I have to over spin it to meet my goal?
Thanks

My personal preference is Vortech. With an S-trim, 600 rwhp can be done, but it's difficult, so you may want to jump straight to the T-trim.

exactly what he said

Get ready to break out the check book, I'm doing all the stuff listed in my sig, my goals are right in line with yours. I still need more stuff, I've spent a little over 8000.00 in the last 4 months and my car isn't even together yet. A good rule of thumb for building the cars to run big boost = Figure up how much it's going to cost you, then double it. There's lots of little unknown factors that eat up the budget, machine work on the block alone was 1000.00. Hopefully your one of the lucky ones that don't have to worry about how much it costs.

Yeah, but you can't stick to a plan.

I don't really care to try to figure what I have invested in my 383/T trim combo right now, especially since the motor is still in the machine shop and the blower is in my bedroom.
