why did you go with steel instead of aluminum for your cold side?

Im gonna go with bc he probably has an *** load of steel layin around lol. And can weld it....possibly he doesnt weld aluminum.

Kit is done... left the camera at the shop though! Pics tomorrow night. I need to send the cold pipes out for powder coating.

Chris, I have the hot side painted black, and then wrapped with black DEI wrapping. That is how it is gonna stay for now. Pics tonight guys!

Jon,

Looks great. Is that pump for the turbo oil return?

At first I though that might be rust at the up-pipe/turbo flange. Is that RTV?

Scott, thanks! Yeah, its a turbowerks scavenge pump. I don't have the motivation at this point to tap the pan with it on the car, so I am going the pump route. The turbo is plenty high enough to gravity drain to the pan.

I used red rtv at the flange... so it probably looks like rust!
