Supercharger with innercooler

I just bought a Supercharger S-trim Vortech with a 3inch inlet/outlet innercooler.
My motor has been out and was rebuilt for nitrous.I went with Eagle 6" rods SRP pistons and a cam 220/230 .540 114.
I rebuilt the whole bottom end with new parts except the crank I kept stock. It was bored .30 over as well.

My question is what kind of boost would I be able to run.I was thinking 8lbs.Since my compression is 10.2.1 not 10.5.1.

My second question is what kind of HP gain and times would I run with 8lbs.

I ran 12.2@114 on motor ET streets and 11.8@121 on nos street tires.

Any ideas?

Im not a Newbie my name here use to be 1fast Firechicken but lost the password.

I wouldn't run more than 8 without dropping the compression first (unless you're on a high octane fuel)... you've got some pistons that can withstand detonation, but get them out soon and sell them, and buy some low compression pistons. How many miles do the current ones have on them? You should come out without losing too much money.

ah forget removing the pistons, you'd be better off geting the new trick flow heads they are supposed to reduce the compression by one point. 9.1-9.2 sounds pretty good to me especially considering they flow pretty good out of the box and very cheap.

Honestly, I would probably go with pistons anyway, just to know that you've got some tough *** pistons that can stand some abuse.

You would really be much better off if you could get down the compression. You will be ok on 8lbs intercooled. But after that I would go much farther. A set of heads could put you down into the 9,x,1. If you had it down then you would leave yourself some growing roon. 8psi will probably net you a 100 hp.

I plan on running 110 octane when racing. That or octane boost.I think 8lbs would be playing it safe.Any higher than Im taking a chance.I am hoping for 500 plus HP.
