Intercooler piping?

Where did you guys that did your own get the pipes? I got some off ebay that look nice but they dont have rolled ends and dont stay together under boost

Can you roll the ends? or weld a edge on it?

I ordered some of the ebay stuff before.....was not impressed, but it worked

look really hard at all the kits 1 by 1 as there are kits with rolled ends in them as i bought a complete kit with like 12 bends,8 2.5 silicone connectors and alot of t-bolt clamps all for $70 you cant beat that and i still have some left over oh did i forget to mention i bought just one of these kits to plumb the coldside on my TWIN TURBO KIT.... polished and alum...

I know a guy that does awesome work with aluminum and he tried welding a bead around the edges and he said he couldn't.
That kit your explaining sounds just like mine but i didnt get the rolled ends

Many times I've welded 3 - 1" long beads on the tips of pipes for hose retention. You just have to turn the power down and point the tip in the right direction.

exactly what mike said he needs to turn the heat or amperage down on the machine to get the beads to stick to the end of the tube there were 2 tubes i had to add dotted lines to in order to have the clamps grab right.

Well from the sounds of what the guy wants to charge just to make a few passes on each pipe im better off gettin some different ones off ebay that have rolled ends. Thanks for the input guys!

I bought some from E-bay and had them bead rolled at the local performance shop. It should be pretty easy to find someone who has one.
