Hey Scott, got your E-mail, I'll post those pics here since E-mailing them did not work and someone else might be interested.
1.overveiw, shows the U-turn off the head unit. If you are using elec fans that will give you even more space.

2. Drilled a 4" hole in the rad core support.

3. 90 degree rubber hose thru that 4" hole at left upper I/C.

4. Looking down to lower right side 90*, goes under the core support.

5. looking in from front @ 90*, here is where I cut a small piece out of the inner side of the frame rail, just back to that round hole.

6. You might be able to see the piping is slightly inside the frame rail.

7. Your LT1 intake will require something different than I've done but maybe these pics give you some ideas.

You said you had a cowl hood in your e-mail, the easy way is to use hood pins and loose the stock latch, frees up space. Ive gone to a pin down glass hood, but for a while I used a steel cowl hood, with the stock but modified hood latch. I did NOT want to drill holes in that hood.
The I/C just rests on top of the bottom edge, of the lower valance, above the spoiler, and use 2, 3/8" bolts w/ nuts and some rubber fuel line (as a spacer) to bolt the I/C to the core support.

Thanks for all the pictures so quick. So do you think i could use my stock latch ? I dont really want to put hood pins on if i dont have to.Do you think the intercooler will make me more power? enough to make it worth all the work and money?
The easy way to use the stock hood and latch would be to use an I/C with smaller tanks than mine. Ck this thread over at Lateral-G.net (pics)

As far as power increases go, intercoolers allow additional boost (more power)
But so does meth, alky, and/or water injection. Also you can just run race gas, and/or a combination. Is it worth it? How fast do you want to go?
Have not yet, but someday I will spray mine too.
