Injector Size For E85

Hey im upgrading my whole set up here and so far here is what I have for a fuel setup. Im going to run dual intank pumps with the stock lines. I want to burn e85 all the time. Right now I only have 42.5LB injectors and Im looking for a suggestion on what to get. I want something I can grow into with the car. Going for 500-600 Hp running on the e85. Ive been looking and it seems the biggest Hi-Z (that I have seen) are motoron 60 lbs. If needed I can buy the converter box or ms 1 to control the fuel side of things.

I'd just get some 96lb injectors and use the honda resistor boxes, you should be able to get both for around $400 used.

Dont know if you have an afpr or if your fuel pump would like it but mototrons flow 60 lbs/hr at 43.5 PSI ( 3 BAR ) and up to 85 lbs/hr at 87 PSI

and mine idle like a dream on a completly stock motor lmao

You take the pink wire that goes to power the drivers side injectors and wire it into the box. Then use the 4 wires coming out of the box and run to each injector. Then do the same for the passenger side.

That sounds good. Is there a specific honda box to look for?

I got mine from a buddy who is big into the honda racing world so I can't say. I think it was early 90's civics though. I'll ask him which ones exactly.

you running into any starting issue with that? i was tuning a friends car we had to up his pressure only 10 psi to get the duty cycle down and its not a big fan of starting right now... but he's having some throttle body issue so that could be the issue to.

Ya the converter boxes seem to be the way to go.

aeromotive sells some regulators that reference boost, and raises it on a 1 to 1 basis... i assume that means 1 lb of boost equals 1 lb of fuel.
wonder if that would help when running a smaller injector. i wouldnt consider it a fmu but seems like it would be pretty stable and wouldnt make tuning that difficult.

zero starting issues. only two constants i changed were minimum pulse width and injector constant. i do get a little lean tip in hesitation but i havent tuned it at all. and thats to be expected with any large injector.
