Smile Initial twin turbo dyno results

I recently finished building a twin turbo system for my car.

Turbos are Innovative GT61's, P-trim .69 a/r on center, mounted low on either side of the block. Tubular motor mounts gave me room for induction. I had to notch the stock K-frame for compressor housing clearance. Headers are tubular, non-equal length 1 5/8 primarys.

I had Griffin build me 2 intercoolers which mount vertically in front of each tire. The are a bit small for the task, but I wanted to re-install my bumper support, so I used what room I had. IAT's start out a 70 and rise to 125 at the end of the run, but I think they will do better on the road with more airflow to them.

Engine is untouched since the last setup. It was still running great so I didn't even bother to freshen it up. 357ci, 9.2-1 compression, 224/224 113lsa cam.

With a mix of 93 and Torco 110. (about 75% 110), a very conservative tune (21 degrees timing, 10.8-11.0 a/f) and 19lbs of boost, it made-

868 rwhp 832 rwtq

I'm happy with the results The car is still nice to drive, has all accessories including A/C, and is absolutely INSANE on the street.

I'll post some pics within the next few days, and hopefully some video too.

how much did that cost, that sounds very similar to QMP turbo numbers. is 800ish really the limit of the LS1s? That one C4 by EFI God was 1200hp

Holy crap !

I saw that you were selling two 61's and thought that you might have given up on the project....Glad to see you didn't!

Good job, as usual.

Nice numbers. Any plans in making more kits?

nice numbers! the incon guys have cut "window" in their wheel-wells for airflow to the intercoolers. I belive they added some grating or something to protect the core from rocks and debris. Also, I think some added fans to the front side? Not sure if that would fit at all.
