Thru that RPM I'm in the mid to upper 20's with the timing.

So, the problem was that you were not running enough timing advance?

This is what I have for timing, Data Master shows a few degrees higher.

2800 30deg
3200 30deg
3600 29.5deg
4000 28.5deg
4500 28deg
5000 26deg
5500 23deg
6000 22deg
6500 22deg
7000 22deg

It curently runs good but I am having a little trouble getting the water/methonal tunned in, I wish I would have purchased a progressive controlled setup. The boost gauge is showing 10lbs at 6000rpm.

Can I get away with a little more timing between 3600-5000 rpm??

Thanks,
Dallas

Yes, I am trying to get it back on the dyno later this week. I will know for sure Wensday if he will have time this week or if I will have to wait until next week to get back on.

No feedback on the timing?

Thanks,
Dallas

The short answer is YES. Every car wants different timing just give it what it wants and don't be so concerned about the numbers. I run way more timing than I thought I would in my car I was actually scared to turn it up that high but that is what it wanted. I have seen many others like it and have seen some that don't like gobs of timing.

The datamaster logs are showing the correct timing, its always 4 degrees higher than what you throw in with LT1 edit. Don't be afraid to add timing if your combo wants it!

Well I put the car back on the dyno today to see what it would do. I did not use the water/meth injection on the first pull, at 5400 rpm it made 523hp @ 9psi at the wheels. It still breaks up slightly around 5250 and power falls off at 5700rpms.

The next pulls were with the water/meth and more timming it made 538hp @5700rpm @ 9psi. The AFR was a little on the rich side with the water/meth, I think it would have made 550hp if I would have leaned out to 12.0 AFR but I did'nt feel like pushing my luck any farther.

I still am unsure why it still slightly breaks up, everything mechanicly is up to par. It probably don't help running the shorty headers, mildly ported stock heads and also pushing the supercharger past its max efficiency.

It is what it is, my goal was 500rwhp and I reached that!

Thanks for everyones help.
