Im trying to get an idea of how much power you guys are making. I plan on running 8lbs of boost on a forged 396 with home ported LT1 heads.

How much power are you blower guys making?

 

on my old set up 383 ported lt1 heads d1sc 15 lbs boost made around 640 rwhp new set is a set of afr 210 heads and a cam change and lt4 manifold should be alot more streetable (compresion from 10.5 to 1 to 9.5 to 1) maybee a little more horsepower

 

Not enough, yet.

 

I made the power in my sig with a PT-76 Q-trim turbo thru a turbo tech manifold and crossover at 18 psi. With my new Twin kit I'm making, I hope to be able to do that with much less boost because I should have MUCH less backpressure

Not enough info to guess what you will make. What blower? What cam? Head flow? Exhaust, etc. All will infuence hp. And the tranny has a huge influence on measured rwhp, so it's tough to compare unless you specify. M6 will lose ~13%, Auo tranny will depend on converter, anywhere from 17-23% or more.
