depends on who you ask. some guys say that 8 is safe, and some say 0 is safe. i think its partly luck, and partly how hard you drive it.

BTW joe-96z1le, i thought the lowest boost ATI kits came with was 8#?

How long are yall's motor's lasting with these blowers. I've seen OBE's in the Camaro magazine, but what about the other guys?

I plan on a fully forged bottom end with a 224/236 and stock heads. I don't think my motor's going to have a short life span.

Sounds like 6 is a good number then.


I don't beat on my car, but I do like to stretch it out at least once everytime I'm driving it. Of course I'm at 104K, so hopefully a blower wouldn't kill it.

With 100K+ on the clock it could depending on how it was taken care of. I bout my z used and in rough shape. So now I have the motor rebuilt for good measure.
