How many of you guys here with forced induction applications are also running N20?

How many guys with Forced Induction cars here are also running Nitrous? What kind of results are you getting? How much are you spraying? How do you like it?

IMO it makes for a good combo. The cooling effects of the nitrous help offset the heating effects of supercharging. I added a 50HP wet shot (NX system) to my 10 psi intercooled Vortech setup. You have the power on demand benefit of the supercharger and the added HP of the nitrous at the track.

So what about meth injection on top of all that? The meth cools everything as well, so does that make the N20 less effective??

I would expect the meth to work, your challenge will be tuning. My PCM is tuned for the SC. The wet system has been dialed in via the jets and removing some timing via a boost timing retard ignition.

My shop actually suggested I do a 50 shot of N20 with my s/c. They use a dry shot and tune for the N20. If the nitrous shot fails, you just end up running a bit rich. If the methanol inj. system fails, you'll be running lean. So, if you're maxed out on boost, add N20.

I know, run a nitro injection system on top of the boost, nitrous, alcohol, and water for maximum chest-expanding PITA status.

What do you want to know? I am using a blower, N2O and WATER injection.

What would be the best system to use wet or dry? What size shot would benefit a intercooled procharger with 12 lb setup...nozzle placement? when to use?

I'm putting together an LT-1 with an S-trim with methanol and a small shot. I have an NX wet kit that is running a stand alone fuel system that works at EFI pressures. At this point, it isn't on the road so I can't tell you how it's going to work out. But others have done it. In my mind, I can't see why I shouldn't be able to run on 91 octane and methanol with 12 or so psi. If you look outisde this board, lots of guys are running meth on the factory turbo'd cars with very good results. Some of the little turbo motors are running +-20psi with meth and pump gas.

Why can't I add a 50-75 shot on top of that if the nitrous enrichment fuel is 118 octane race gas?

I'm going to try it. If it doesn't work I'll be buying new pistons.

Click on the link below my sig and you'll see the combo in action. T-trim @14psi with a 150hp dry shot along with 50/50 meth/water injection all on 91 octane pump gas.

Very nice Ken, does Golen know about the abuse your putting that engine through? Have you ever checked out your vid in fast forward? I did by accident, check it out, it was fun to watch.
