It seens that when it comes to off the shelf turbo kits... many would claim that PTK it's the best one around...

However, most of the people that talk about PTK don't have one...

Infact I get the feeling only 2 or 3 in this site actually have one. I know they have not been in the martket for such a long time. but come on where are all the PTK owners???

I'm using the FAST system, but they offer a custom Billet FMU that is fully adjustable with gains.....very nice unit, nothing like the Vortech FMU's that are pretty much unreliable.

Bernie on this board has the PTK system on a bone stock LT1. Just the kit was added with a smaller T66 p-trim. He did end up dynoing 454rwhp and 567rwtq with I think 9psi. I don't remeber off hand, maybe Bernie will chime in. I know he has been extremely busy cause he has upgraded to a fully built 383 and T76-GTS.

I'm setting up the PTK hot parts, a Master Power GT45, and a built 355 lt1. Not done yet, everything is getting built.

Honestly the reason I chose PTK was looking at the product pictures, and that helped. The rest was based on Jose because his support has been awesome on any stupid question I may have had. It's like having a Ferrari when the nearest service center is 400 miles away! There isnt much out there for turbo lt1's and I wanted an easy access to good help, and I found it.

But I'll be doing pictures and write-ups as it goes together and the car gets broken in over the next 5 weeks.

BTW, I just spoke with Bernie, those rwhp #'s were at 9psi and that is through an auto tranny, not a 6spd . So looks like with a 6spd, those #'s would be around 465-470rwhp.

Geoff that turbo is not joke. Just cause its not as $$$ as the PTE, T-netics units, it doesn't mean its not as good...thats for sure. You can see that the bearing assembly is extremely beefy, and the casing uses even a V-band on the exhaust housing. Heck the PTE, T-netics units don't even come with that.
