On a hot day, what temps are you guys seeing?

I guess I'm still getting used to the hotter running temps of being supercharged compared to what I was used to when I was N/A. Personally I am seeing 190-200 (according to the gage in the dash) on a hot 85+ degree day both on the hwy and in town.

Is this normal? What temps are you guys seeing?

That is normal. I see 210ish on a hot day and 150ish at the top of third with an Alkycontrol system. This is with a hot air maxed out S trim.

he is talking about engine temp, not the IAT reading..

with a 160 degree thermo..mine runs right at 184 or so u during a hot day...i have my fans kick in at 192 so it never really gets over that...on a cool night high 170s.

On cooler (70 degrees or less) days I see 180 or less. But on a hot 95 degree day with high humidity levels, it creeps up to 200 or so. I just wanted to see if I was alone, or this was still normal and okay.

I have a 180 thermostat. I see 190-220 on the dash guage but the PCM scanner always shows about 10 cooler. For some reason my car runs better at the higher coolant temps so I got rid of my 160 stat.

From: ..behind you with a butter knife
160 stat
Griffin radiator
stock fans
98% deionized water and 32oz of DEI radiator relief

on an 85 deg day it runs about 185-190 deg around town,180deg at highway speeds..making boost in 3rd and 4th will bring the temp into the mid 190's .....a few back to back runs will bump it over 200..but it will cool down really quick.

at night its runs in the low to mid 170s on the highway...same thing..when it sees boost it gets a little warmer..mid 180s

I think I'm okay after seeing other temps guys are running here. It was 85 today, and it peaked about 190 or so.

Mine sits at 210 no matter what conditions...idle, cruise, or WOT...even if its 95* outside. 10+ dyno pulls back to back never saw over 210.

griffen rad, stock fans always on, stock thermostat.

btw, autometer guage with sender in head reads 210, while stock guage hooked to sensor in water pump reads 240
