Post Hot cam any good for car with these mods...?

Gotta change the opti and I've been wanting to increase output so I figure now is the time to do a cam. I can get a hot-cam kit at cost and was wondering if this would be a good choice, if not what would be a good selection for my setup. I want to get the car deep into the 12's. Also with 80,000 on the clock which would last longer and perform best.
1. My current setup with hotcam and mildly ported heads(mostly exhaust)and slp midlengths also going to a 6# pulley or
2. Ditch the blower for a more agressive head and cam package with the headers( if I can get away with getting a collector tag and not worry about emissions I will go long tubes)
Hopefully you guys can help me pick the right cam or help me decide whether to stay blown or go n/a with the mileage and all.
Thanks

keep the blower, do the heads like you want, and pick a cam with less overlap than the hotcam. I chose comp cams blower grind: duration @.050 is 218IN 230EX with a 114* LSA.

How do you like that cam? That is pretty much the cam I have chosen for a future mod, I'm thinking of getting one custom gound with slightly longer duration and narrower LSA for more overlap and nastier idle quality.....but still not so much overlap that I'm losing signifcant boost. Something like this: 220IN 232EX on 113 LSA. I think that would have a cool idle in a 350 but not be torqueless off idle either. Good for ~6,300 with ported stock heads and 1.6 RR's. I'm thinking with my overdriven Powerdyne it would make 450 ~ 465 RWHP....not bad for a setup that's mild all around. Then slap on a 75 or 100 shot (forged pistons of course).

I run a hot cam with my blower @ 10psi.......you do lose some low end...but it pulls nasty hard up to 6,600 rpms

Sorry, no numbers of any kind, not even a timeslip. Here's some more info on the car if you'd like it.

350, srp 9:1 pistons, stock crank/rods w/ARP hardware, ported heads CFM: (245IN 195EX), the cam mentioned, Hooker LT's, 4" Mufflex, and a little Vortech A-trim @ 5psi. I'd guess somethin' around 400RWHP.

I'm happy with the cam all things considered. Its got a nice idle and pretty strong midrange. My combo is definently not optimized, and it wont be until I can get some more boost (S-trim) on it. Then I'll think about intercooling, tuning and stuff.

Take care all.
