Holley roots type

Was browsing thier site and noticed most of the blowers like this they offer have a note by them that says they do not work with 93 and later lt1 heads but a couple didnt, just wondering if they work on the lt1 engine itself it was the 250 pro-street I was looking at that didnt say it wouldnt work with the lt1 adn I think it was a low profile one as well for hood clearance... Also I was wondering if its posible to adapt a superchargeer from another car say a supercharged 3800 from a, correct me if im wrong, GTP? or maybe 2 of them since its probably a smaller supercharger... I am aware some of these questions may be ignorant but I didnt see them discussed anywhere so I thought ide throw it out there.

Do some searches for Rooster93v8. He ended up using an Eaton m112 and has the car running. I don't think it is finished yet.

Good Luck

Ahhh.......Cool.

Hey Rooster I have a few questions for ya'

If I remember right, I saw some posts that you made talking about an fmu. Why are you running an fmu with pcmforless tuning? I thought Brian could tune for a SC so that you didn't need an fmu. I am just curious what you have done to get the fuel/pcm to work right.

Secondly, how would a fella reproduce an intake like yours? I would really like to do something similar, but my fabrication skills don't exist. And I am not real sure how I would go about giving someone specs or trusting someone to do this. There aren't a lot of shops that could do this sort of thing around here. If I remember right, didn't you end up having yours made somewhere? Would they be able to make another?

How many pounds of boost does that thing put out?

I have a GTP with an M90 and the torque and instant boost those eatons make is very nice

I am just kicking this around, but any info. you could provide would be great.

Thanks

I work with Bryan, I do all the chip cars and he does all the flash stuff. I could have made it work without a FMU if the car was mass air but this car is speed density and it is totally blind as to how much airflow is coming into the motor past 1 atm. For ultra smooth performance and driveablity I don't see any other way to program this thing besides swaping to a 2 bar speed density system.

If you can't weld and don't have access to a machine shop than i would not reccomend this. It was cheap for me to do cause i did it all myself. I built the lower intake myself and built a upper out of steel. I didn't like the steel intake so i brought it to someone who copied the exact same design in 1/8 aluminum. I probally could have made one out of aluminum too but i didn't feel like messing with such thin stuff without a TIG.

7psi I can't tell when it starts because as soon as i get the gas its there. No boost building at all
