Heads, Pulley, Aftercooler, Head Unit?? Which option?

Good point about the rear of the bumper...I cut mine off and if you looked over at ls1tech.com there are tons of TA guys running the FMIC.

Yeah, to effectively run a FMIC on a trans am, youll need to cut the front out of the bumper at a minimum

That sucks. Is the twin intercooler setup adequate for say 12psi or is it not worth the trouble?

Ya'll are talking about cutting the front bumper not bumper cover(the part you can see), right?

Also, to the original poster's question. I don't think you should just upgrade the head unit. A bigger head unit should be combined with more intercooling or water/meth inj. or something. How much power are you wanting to make? The bigger head units + more cooling of intake charge will equal more power, generally speaking.

No we are actually talking about cutting the bumper, as in making a large hole in the painted plastic to allow air to flow through to the intercooler...
ive got an aftercooler for sale that ill let go of cheap. I have no use for it and would rather have the room in my garage
