yea i know exactly whats wrong, You aren't getting enough fuel to your engine, you need a better fuel regulator, I would check with the company who makes your supercharger for one. Also I dont know if you have one, but better exhaust always helps. I would'nt race untill you fix this problem, other wise you will cause your car to lean out and you will blow your pistons.- let me know how you do - mike

Most people will say that glowing headers is either too rich or valves too tight, but after a WOT run i don't know.

Thanks for the help. I am going to get a new feul reg and fuel pump I already have the injectors. They are 30lbs injectors. Do you think this will be enough. Or you know the three fuel injectors that sit on the throttle body for the supercharger came with it they are 36lbs couldnt i just change them to like 50lbs injectors and adjust the fmu that came with the supercharger would that work thanks kenny

Don't start dumping money until you know exactly what's going on. It could be that you're too rich, and excess fuel is going straight into the header then burning there, which is causing the glowing, and could also cause the flames shooting out the back.

Headers will also glow if you dont have enough timing into the car. On my last turbo car the manifold would glow like you could not believe. One problem was an ignition miss, causing raw fuel to dump into the exhaust(flames). Then after that was fixed still has some glow, added timing and it was gone. Well until the car went under boost

I had this problem when the FPR went. I just went back to the stock unit with no probs. What plugs are you using, and what was the nasty sound? Have a FP gauge?

if your worried about plugs, a colder ranger of plugs would always help, but check with paxton for a fpr, your pistons already sound damaged, cool things down for a bit untill this is fixed, depending on how damaged they are you might need new ones, but hopefully not. Your biggest concern should be keeping the engine as cool as possible. you are definatley running lean, trust me i have been in your postion before, it sucks. I had it happen on my old car. I had a GTP stock 7lbs of boost i put it to 25lbs and the pistons detinated for a month or two then i blew my first and third piston, smashed my plugs, nitrous cought on fire but i turned the tank of so just the lines blew. and some how i managed to get the warenty to cover it. That why i will only supercharge my ss with a intercooled supercharger. The problem is heat, and the amount of space and time it can be taken out of the engine
