Having temp probs...

First night taking home the car with the Procharger installed. Temp gauge while driving at normal speeds is climbing up to almost the redline. Slow the car down and the temp goes down. Any suggestions?

Did you go into the motor at all? or just slapped on a charger. Was it working fine before the charger install?

No motor mods, just the procharger. The air pump was removed. Before I was seeing temps of about 180. I didn't do the install, but I was told that the fans had to be spaced differently. Could be the problem. I don't see why though. As soon as I get off the gas the car cools down quickly. So the fans are working properly.

Well, I'm going to install 160 stat today, see if that helps.
