Has anyone put the whipple gen III sbc 4.8/5.3/5.0 kit on a LS1 F-Body? It looks like it sits 1/3 of the intake forwars and alittle higher than the ls1 but shorter than the truck intakes. It seems like this could be done. Maybe add a vortech air to water cooler. How hard to switch to a truck spec accs.?

 

I imagine it could be done with some cutting of the firewall, but you might loose your windshield wipers, at least the motor--Rooster93 could probably tell you more since he has that eaton on his LT1 I called whipple about fabricating my own kit since they sell seperate parts just for that reason, but after talking with them I discovered they weren't very helpful and were quiet against doing it. After that I said forget it. How much is the kit--I think they are all pretty expensive, so its alot of work and money for something you could get out of a centrafugal or turbo

 

What head unit is the GM truck kit. The 2.3L or the 3.3L
